Members donate $25 (or what they feel led to give) in the fall.
Books are purchased for for all second and third grade students in Mitchell County Schools (Colorado ISD, Loraine ISD, and Westbrook ISD).
We place labels and book plates inside the books at one of our fall meetings and plan to deliver these to the area schools.

Testimonials

"Officers and committee chairs keep members informed and up to date on current legislative actions, insurance changes, and general information concerning retired school employees."

- Sonja Hanks, Immediate Past President

Last December, we collected and donated toiletries to the Community Mission for distribution to local needy families.

In the spring, we collected items such as treats, puzzle books, note pads and pens, etc. for the fifty residents of Mitchell County Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility.
