Who Is MARSP?

The ONLY voice for retired educators is TRTA, the largest state retired teacher association! MARSP is a local chapter of TRTA that involves our members in fun and education concerning retired educators.

Welcome

The Monahans Area Retired School Personnel advocates improved benefits for all education retirees, and promotes the well-being of its members. MARSP would like to invite all retired school personnel to their meetings at the First Baptist Church parlor the first Thursday of the month at 1 PM. The Next meeting will be September 5 at 1:00 PM.

Testimonials

From a member of MARSP:

none   "Being a member of TRTA on the state level is important to me because it allows me to be informed and stay active in the decision making process for both retired and active school personnel. On the local level, MARSP allows me to continue enjoying long standing friendships and to work along side my friends to establish the best possible retirement for all school employees, as well as, keeping an active voice in our state education process for our local and state school districts. From a member of MARSP:

none   "Belonging to TRTA/MARSP is a bond we share as school personnel. To me, it is much like serving in the military, being an active member of your church or being on a sports team. There is a common goal we all share. Our goal is constantly changing and being a member confirms we are all concerned for the future of education. Being a member, keeps me informed on issues that affect myself, my family and my community. "  none
